If you were charged with ault and ault with a deadly weapon but the charges were dismissed?

does that still affect you when you apply for jobs? Do companies even look at the fact that it was dismissed? And when filling out an application do you put that down even though you were not convicted? The DA found out that it was a lie and dismissed the charges but it still shows up. What can I do
