I need to still be part of her life please help?

my ex girlfriend has HIV , I knew all along and still carried on , my family found out forced me to break up ,my mom couldn't live knowing I was in that kind of danger.Yesterday was a very dark day for me because I really like her , she doesn't have a group of friends , she's all alone again with a deadly disease , I need to still be there for her somehow ,as a friend , or just have her back when is needed, how do i get back in her life , I know I must wait first..even for me , to let feelings go.
