Star wars battlefront 2 bonuses?

In Star Wars Battlefront 2, if you get 64 medals in an area such as "war hero" you get to keep the reward of it permanently, but do you keep the bonus in other game modes besides instant action. For example if you kill 32 people, you get the award "war hero" which makes your weapons more deadly. If you get the award 64 times, you keep the bonus permanently. I'm just wondering if you keep the bonus if other game modes too (galactic conquest, rise of the empire).
